A twenty-eight-year-old brother in Christ named D.J. recently wrote, saying,
Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s always a real joy to share God’s love with you. The U.S.A., U.K., Canada, Australia, and Brazil were the top five countries from where viewers visited the site last month. We’re humbled by all the praise reports from around the world. The Psalmist David proclaimed,
“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.” 1
It amazes me to hear through a couple of letters how the Lord has softened Aaron’s heart from his hardened past. He writes,
Welcome! Here we are dear ones, a month before the Easter celebration of Christ’s resurrection, examining our lives as Christians in the presence of God. We dare not look upon ourselves in fleshly condemnation without the view of Christ, but rather see ourselves in faith, rejoicing in God’s love and grace.
“Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is in you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.” 1
Happy Resurrection Day! The word blessed in the Greek means “Oh how happy!” As Christians, our happiness comes from the blessing of God, not this world. Though our circumstances may be bleak, happiness is internal, exuding from the Spirit through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Psalmist David wrote,
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.” 1
What a blessing to hear from Ryan, who saw my interview on the 700 Club from years ago. He wrote,
Happy Memorial Day! I don’t know who you are, but I believe the Lord is going to touch your life as you search this website. I’ve been where you are without hope, but there is a word for those whose heart is open to God.
“…blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” 1
You may have a problem with a loss of faith like Bruce in West Virginia, who wrote,
“I stumbled upon your website and decided to write you. I’m not really a religious person. I used to believe in God, but not sure if I do now or not. Should I be worried? Is it wrong for me to question everything?
Happy Father’s Day! My heart and prayers go out to all the fathers who feel they are failures when it comes to parenthood. As you experience God’s love for you, He’ll increase your love towards your children, making it unconditional like His for us.
“And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ.” 1

That you are walking in righteousness, peace, joy and health, because of your daily focus on God’s love and grace. The apostle Paul wrote:
“Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you.” 1

I’m blessed daily at mail call with praise reports causing jubilation, such as Ian, who wrote:
Welcome! It’s amazing to hear from so many being blessed from around the world. Most are rejoicing because of the testimony, but many are hurt by others and by their own making. The Epistle of James says:
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you… Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” 1
You may be able to identify with Logan, who wrote from the state of New York, saying,
Harvest Blessings! Listen, your help is needed in the harvest field. I pray for your boldness to share this site with your friends and family. For there to be a harvest, a seed must be planted in the hearts of your loved ones, plus it needs watering to bring forth fruit.
“The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” 1
It’s always great to hear from someone like Bruce again, with a wonderful praise report, saying,
Happy Thanksgiving! Do you want to be happy this Thanksgiving while celebrating with family and friends? If so, start thanking God for your Salvation in Christ, specifically for your victory through faith over everything that causes stress and anxiety.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1
My heart goes out to Christopher, who sent me a JOY Christmas card, expressing his battle in life, writing:
Happy Birthday Jesus! My heartfelt prayers go out to all those who won’t be experiencing a Merry Christmas this year because of fires, hurricanes, floods, shootings and other turmoil.
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” 1
A Christian brother named John wrote again from Pennsylvania, saying:
Happy New Year! I’d like to suggest this year that you’ll never change your mood by reliving past experiences. There are good memories, but many of them only make us feel worse. As an example, Jeremiah’s remembrance of God’s faithful love brought about a change in the prophet’s emotions.
“The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words. I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.” 1

Here's a letter from James in Canada, an elementary school teacher for 35 years, writing,
Springtime Greetings! I pray this month will be a wonderful time of Spiritual awakening and growth. Springtime is not only the season between winter and summer, but the period of life in which one passes from childhood to maturity. 1
“Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.” 2
Happy Resurrection Season! It’s always a joy to bring forth the monthly view, especially during Easter. Unlike C.E.O.s (Christmas Easter Only – Christians who worship only twice a year), we’re to celebrate daily the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. For example, listen to the apostle Paul,
“I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!” 1

Happy Mother’s Day! I am perplexed by how many of you stumble upon this site looking for Manson madness, then quickly turn away when the testimony of Jesus Christ is mentioned. Won’t you give Jesus a chance?

Happy Father’s Day! It always amazes me to read the responses from the website. This month I share a letter from Michael, who asked me to share a Scripture that has helped me through difficult times. That was easy for me to answer; it’s Romans 8:28, 29.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
“I wrote because I read you’re a Christian, and I thought you could help me out. I was born in Virginia, raised in a small town in MA, and at age eleven, we moved to Greensboro, NC. After high school, I joined the Marine Corps. I was with an infantry battalion stationed in 29 Palms (CA). I served two tours of duty in Iraq in ’03 and ’04. The war was both traumatic and rewarding. It made me feel how fortunate I was to be both born and raised in the U.S.A.
Happy Independence Day! Let’s be honest about our sins, guilt, and shame, then be thankful that God has made the way for us to be liberated from our past, present and future sins.
