Welcome! My purpose is to demonstrate God's love for you no matter what your past. My hope is for you to experience His unconditional love in the depths of your heart, resulting in freedom from rebellion, pride, fear, insecurity, guilt, shame, etc. For this reason, I'm offering a new link and brochure called "God's Divine Flow."
The anointing of love...
You've heard “God loves you!” as a cliché many times, but have you really experienced God's love in the depths of your heart? Many answer “no”, so you aren't alone. For me, I experienced God's love when I was born - again. “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again [born from above], you cannot see [perceive] the kingdom of God [love].” 1
After receiving Christ in 1975, I return to myself from the service a new man. I didn't realize what had happened that night, but his love caused my face to glow. 2 Once viewing my radiant reflection in a mirror, I said, “You're ten times higher on Jesus than ever on drugs!” I was bathed and God's love - liquid love. In the natural, the only explanation is my brain was producing endorphins due to being edified by the Holy Spirit. Regardless, I was experiencing God's glorious love.
Today, we are excited by Jude to build one another up in faith and love.
“But you, dear friend, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourself safe in God's love.” 3
God's glory is his love...
In the Old Testament, Moses experienced a glowing face after receiving the 10 commandments the second time. 4 It's a story worth reading in Exodus 33 and 34. Briefly, Moses found grace in God's sight. He desired to know God [love] and to experience His presence, so he prayed, "...show me your glory." The Lord replied,
“I will make all my goodness pass before you, & I will call out my name, Yahweh [Jehovah is Salvation], before you. For I will show mercy [tender love] to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.” 5
The Lord had Moses stand up on a rock [a shadow of Jesus / Yeshua]. When God's glory passed by, He put Moses in a cliff of the rock [us hidden Christ], before revealing his glory, but not his face. 6 For us who are born again we will see the face of God in Jesus Christ.
“For God, who said ‘Let there be light and darkness,’ has made this light shine in our hearts so we can know the glory of God [love] that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.” 7
Moses had the cloudy pillar of the Holy Spirit upon him, but for us, God's glory of love [agape] shines upon our face because he lives in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we are cells are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” 8
Experiencing God's glorious love...
Under the law, Moses wasn't able to experience God's great treasure of glorious life without Jesus’ blood and righteousness and neither are we. The Lord bless him with his name [Yeshua], but Moses could not see his face and live. 9 The Apostle Paul called the Law the ministration of death and condemnation or the law of sin and death. And only the ministration of the spirit and righteousness or the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus can set us free to truly experience God's love. 10
“For God made Christ, who never send to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” 11
The people of Israel couldn't experience God's glorious love either, being in bondage to their rebellion, pride and fear / sin consciousness. Because of the condemnation of the law, Moses had to put a veil over his shining face when given the Law to them. 12 Like many people today, they were weighed down with sin, under the bondage of condemnation and unable to experience God's love. But in Christ, “We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the people of Israel would not see the glory even though it was destined to fade away.”13 Since we have turned to the Lord, the veil of condemnation has been taken away from us. 14 But that's not a reality for the people of Israel,
“...the people's minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their mind so they can not understand the truth. In this bill can be removed only by believing in Christ. Yes, even today when they read Moses' writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand.” 15
Again, the Apostle Paul wrote:
“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see [perceive] the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand the message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” 16
We're simply and complete to receive God's glorious love without responding in faith to Jesus blood and righteousness, satisfying the demand of God's law. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”17
Responding to God's love...
Simply put, the glory of God is seen in the new covenant as well as the old. But rather than being reflected on the outside, as with Moses's face, the glory of the new covenant is a transformation from the inside out. This glory shines through the lives of all who trust Jesus Christ and pursue true healing in the power of the Holy Spirit. The further we progress in our relationship with God, the more visible God's glory becomes in our life. The Apostle Paul put it this way:
“For the Lord is the spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord - who is the spirit - makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 18
If we will not recognize the sins in our life, we are in denial and are headed for destruction. If Satan has blinded us to our sins and condemnation, we cannot accept the gift of forgiveness that God offers us through relationship with Jesus Christ. The only way to overcome the powerful effects of our sins is to admit our helplessness and entrust our life to God. He will help us take an honest look at our life and empower us to change. But we begin the process by shedding our denial and accepting the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ.
“For God loved the world so much that He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but save the world through Him.” 19
Won't you respond to God's love by believing and receiving Jesus as your Savior, Lord and Righteousness today?
May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace. 20
A prayer for you...
Lord Jesus, I don't want to live this way anymore. Today, I release my failings, sin and mistakes into your loving hands. And I receive Your forgiveness right now in my heart. Thank You for Your precious blood that washes me whiter than snow. Right now I stand in Your righteousness, favor, joy and peace. Thank You that even right now, Your forgiveness and Your perfect love are raining all over me because of Your Son’s finished work. Take away the veil of every lingering sense of ugliness, guilt and condemnation in me. I believe with all my heart that right now when You look at me, You see me in Christ Jesus. I am clothed in His robes of righteousness, favor and blessings. Thank You for Your abundance of grace and Your free gift of righteousness in my life. Through Jesus, I will reign in this life over every sin, addiction and failure. In Jesus name, Amen!
