Mothers of Prisoners
Cheryl, our web site administrator, recently asked, "Do you realize how many mothers come to your site, Charles? They come there because their sons and daughters have gotten into some type of problem, and they are desperately seeking ways to help the situation."
I recall the pain and agony that my own mother and family went through because of my crime. My mom and dad went to their graves with their hearts broken and their son still in prison. Thankfully, both of them knew Christ, so now they are rejoicing in heaven with Jesus, awaiting my arrival.
My mom prayed and in late 1974, she asked several Evangelists to contact me, and they did. As a result, Jesus came into my heart in May 1975. The Lord called me into the work of the ministry, which may not have happened without the prayers and unconditional love of Mom.
Recently Christine, a dear friend, wrote about her grandson's friend, saying, "Aaron has a friend who is in a cult. He is reading your new book to help him. You're reaching out far and wide."
Our desire is to comfort others as we have been comforted by the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 1:3,4), Who is our Comforter (John 14:27). If what you read on this site has been a comfort to you, and if you believe these materials will be a comfort to your loved one in prison, print what you like and mail it into them.
