Newyear2018Happy New Year! It takes 20/20 vision to be happy! The wisest man ever, other than Jesus Christ, King Solomon wrote: “Where there is no vision [redemptive revelation of God], the people perish: but he that keepeth the law [walks in love], happy is he.” 1

“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.” 2

A Judge Responds…

“Having read your testimony, I wanted to write to you. It feels a bit strange to address, in person, someone who is a living (though notorious) historical figure. At age 61, I’m old enough to remember your crimes, which horrified me than and still do today. Even given the many factors which caused you to act the way that you did, your actions are still very difficult to understand.

valentinesHappy Valentine’s Day! Wouldn’t it be great if everyone was blessed and filled with happiness this Valentine’s Day? In God’s eyes we’re all blessed, because He views us through the blood of His Son, but in reality, so many are blinded, lost and defeated by the world.

“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” 1

A Heart-Breaking Response…

I answered Jennifer’s letter, and she poured her heart out to me and brought me to tears.

mountain lakeWelcome! I quote John 3:16 often, where Jesus tells us how much God loves the world, but how about verse 17, where He tells us that he didn’t come to judge us. If anyone deserves His judgment, it is me, but listen to His words.

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” 1

Praise Reports…

So let us praise the Lord that he gave us this wonderful salvation, taking our judgment upon Himself. Trish writes,

cross easterHappy Resurrection Day! What a blessing to receive such wonderful responses to the testimony of Jesus Christ in my life; surprisingly from a whole new generation as a result of the 50th-anniversary remembrance.

“Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.” 1

Another Amazing Response…

I’m enjoying the contents of Abounding Love’s website. I’m a born-again Christian who gave my heart to Jesus in 1991.

Mothers day 2019Happy Mother’s Day! I’m trusting by now that parts of our world have opened back up after the virus; “a tiny disease-causing agent”, although devastating to many. In light of the Gospel, Jesus said:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 1

A Rocky Response…

Aaron wrote: “I received your letter. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I also looked at the information you sent. It truly meant a lot.

christmas2018Merry Christmas! Jesus was born to die for Adam’s sin, that had spread to all mankind. He took upon Himself sin’s judgment, giving us eternal life through His death, burial, and resurrection.

“…God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” 1

Christmas Praise Reports…

Your response makes my day, knowing that these efforts aren’t falling on deaf ears.
