God loves you! We’re hearing from those around the world who are receiving the revelation of God’s love for healing. Won’t you receive His love today as you spend time on the site being encouraged to “…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”? 1

“Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.” 2

Another Wonderful Response…

Delinda writes from Tennessee, saying, “For some reason you walked into my mind tonight, so I decided to write you.

“Your testimony amazes me; the awesome power of forgiveness! Your book found its way to me when a local church thrift store was closing down. What did not sell was laid in garbage heaps in the parking lot. I was the third person to arrive, and I reached for a man’s black jacket and underneath was your book, Will You Die for Me?I know I was meant to find it, because I had so longed to read your story.

“I was almost murdered in 2003 in a domestic assault. I had neck and back surgery, and I still have fifteen herniated discs. Another part of my testimony is that I came out of voodoo, receiving Christ in 2005. So I can relate to some of your past. We all have a testimony as you know. I’m amazed at how far you have come. Society never forgets, but Jesus does! 3

I just wanted to tell you this, and I hope you are doing well. The times they are a changing. I pray you are used to touch many souls and show them the way to Christ.

“I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2010. I live on chemo everyday which is hell! So I don’t leave my house much. It would be nice to get a letter. I live on a 400-acre farm, and I raise timber wolves. I continue to raise a garden despite my illness and physical limits. I’m an herbalist, so I guess I’m just a fifty-four-year-old hippy. Take care of yourself. I pray one day you’ll taste FREEDOM. Sincerely, Delinda, TN.”

My Heartfelt Appreciation…

Delinda is reaching out to me, yet she is suffering from a life-threatening disease. Immediately, I was led to pray and reach back out to her. I sent my “Confession of the Word” brochure with healing promises for her to speak and direct her faith. Now, I’m asking that you reach out to her with your thoughts and prayers as well.

Listen, we’re all going through something, and we need each other in the body of Christ. We may not have a life-threatening disease like Delinda, but maybe we’re having financial, marriage or emotional difficulties. This is why we come together in fellowship for God’s comfort as believers, “…who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 4

But some, like Delinda, “…don’t leave [their] house much.” So this is where a website can reach those who don’t leave home, even a site from a prisoner like this one. As I shared last month, “…our purpose is to reach the unchurched and to make them feel whole through the love of God.”

An Amazing Testimony…

I find Delinda’s testimony amazing; so to hear she found my testimony book in a garbage heap was icing on the cake. She rejoiced to read my story, but her story is equally amazing because of Christ. She never expected her testimony to be shared around the world, but by an act of faith, she decided to write when God put me on her heart.

Then, I responded when I heard her testimony. How God protected her through domestic violence though she is still suffering with fifteen herniated discs. But through it all, God delivered her out of voodoo when she received Jesus by faith in His finished work at Calvary. As she relates, “We all have a testimony!” Jesus says,

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” 5

Since salvation is spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically, we are expecting Delinda to receive healing of leukemia through faith in Jesus, “…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” 6

Isn’t it wonderful to trust God for healing as a completed work of Christ, instead of giving in to disease?

Step Out in Faith…

I’m encouraged to see Delinda living by such great faith. Though she is in chemo daily (which is a living hell), she raises wolves and gardens as an herbalist. This might not sound like much, but she’s not laying around feeling sorry for herself. Rather, she is stepping out in faith, taking the time to write even though it was hard. As a result, she’s touching the world with me, because she acted in faith by writing.

I’m humbled that she reached out to me, but it’s more important to reach out to Jesus, like so many who were healed during the time of the Gospels.

“… they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.’” 7

My desire is to encourage everyone to build their faith in God’s plan for them. Though it might stretch your faith to the limit, the Lord has already provided your salvation, and He awaits you to receive it! Instead of waiting on the Lord to heal you, receive by faith what He has already provided, by simply trusting God’s Word for your need.

Before Christ, men of old prophesied of the Lord Jesus and waited for His finished works, but now that He came, took your sins and sickness upon Himself, rose from the dead and poured out the power of the Holy Spirit, it’s up to you to receive! After the Holy Spirit was poured out on the day of Pentecost, the apostle Peter shouted at the people, saying:

“Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Save yourselves from this crooked generation!” 8

Won’t you cry out to Jesus in prayer today?

A Prayer for You…

Jesus, thank You for forgiving my sins and saving me from eternal separation from God. By faith, I accept Your work and death on the cross as sufficient payment for my sins. I rejoice that Your resurrection from the dead shows Your complete victory over sin and death – making me holy and acceptable in God’s sight. Thank You for providing the way for me to have a relationship with my heavenly Father and eternal life. Thank You for hearing my prayers and sending Your Holy Spirit to heal me in areas where I have been wounded and my emotions have been damaged. Thank You for healing my body, and for giving me the strength and wisdom to walk in the center of Your will, now and for evermore. In Your holy and precious name I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen
