Nails CrossWelcome! If this is your first time to visit the site, I'm throwing out a lifeline to rescue folks from drowning in the delusions of this world. I was rescued in 1975, after my false beliefs took me down the road to destruction. Since that time, I've become a part of the rescue party, bringing many on board for a life of victory and vision.

A Cry For Healing...

“I hope this letter finds you well. I noticed a monumental countenance change in your face, as I compare the look you had a long time ago, to now. While most people’s looks do change as they get older, with you, this is not just the case, in my opinion, because I feel what is also being seen is the life of Christ.

After being in church for the last 15 to 20 years myself, and having a relationship with God, I notice stuff like your new face. I have an eye for it; I've seen it in myself over the years - it's a growing experience.

Normally, I wouldn't be writing a letter, but I've been severely injured for over a year, and I'm home sometimes laying down incapacitated with pain I can't control. Other times I feel depressed over my situation due to very little coping skills I have towards the grief associated with the loss of my life in the way I knew it to be.

I believe your ministry is sincere and that you don't play with God. Can you pray for my healing of tissue damage, repair and pain alleviation, and for the joy of the Lord to return to me once again?

I hang on to Isaiah 53:5, "By his stripes I am healed!" I was told to say it loud with my mouth, not just reading it quietly. Thanks for your time." Erica, MA.

A Heart of Compassion...

Compassion means "to suffer with another." Jesus suffered with everyone who came to him for healing, during his earthly ministry.

"A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed. 'If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,' he said. Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. 'I am willing,' he said, 'Be healed!' Instantly the leprosy disappeared, and the man was healed." 1

A true member of the Body of Christ suffers with those who suffer, desiring to see everyone respond to their salvation or healing. We desire to be used by God in what really matters to his heart. Life is so short; eternity awaits us all.

My heart goes out to Erica. I'll not only be praying for her, but my Christian Brothers will be too. I'm also asking you to pray for her right now.

What About Your Healing?

Ministry is all about reaching one person at a time, until God's grace multiplies to reach the multitudes. Erica's healing is not the only thing that is important to me, but where you will spend eternity. As believers, we know what happens to us after we die. Second Corinthians 5:7,8 says,

"For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be home with the Lord."

For an unbeliever with a guilty conscience, considering where you'll spend eternity is hard to escape, since all of us will end up in either heaven or hell. We will be there a whole lot longer than we'll be alive on earth.

Let me ask you a couple questions:

  • Have you come to the place in your thinking where you know for sure that when you die you will go to heaven?
  • What was it you were to die tonight in sin before God, and he were to say to you, 'Why should I let you into my heaven?' What would you say?

Receive Your Healing...

Some folks answer with a list of good things that I've done in life and others don't know what to say because of guilt; both do not realize that eternity is received by faith as a free gift from God.

"God saved you by His grace [favor] when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it." 2

The Greek word sozo, translated "saved" is the same Greek word for healed. When Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead, he purchased soundness for your spirit, soul and body. You have been made whole. Listen to the Apostle Paul saying,

"Now may the God of peace make you holy [whole] in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful." 3

Make this your confession: "According to the Word of God, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I confess Him now as my healer. I make Him Lord over my spirit, soul and body. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. From this moment, I'm saved, healed, made whole and delivered, according to Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; Psalm 103:2,3 and 1 Peter 2:24."

Daily, as a child of God, you are to walk in authority over sin, sickness and the devil by speaking God's Word with your mouth and believing in your heart like Jesus did in Matthew 4:1-11, and Luke 4:1-13. My brochure, "Confession of the Word," is available for download under ALMS brochures. I'd suggest you print it and place it in your Bible for easy access to confess.

A Prayer For You...

"Father, I thank You for providing not only eternity in heaven for me, but also healing: mentally, emotionally and physically through the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross. I choose to act on the covenant of healing, even though my body doesn't feel healed. I believe that I receive the healing that is taking place in my body now in the name of Jesus. Amen!
