July 2026
Welcome! In the summer of '72, the death penalty was overturned by the Supreme Court. I was transferred to the California Men's Colony and given a job in the kitchen. I signed up for hobby and made toys. One was a police helicopter with the words "Game Is Blame" painted on the side. I knew my situation from the start was my own fault.
"Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away" (James 1:14, NLT).
The Blame Game . . .
It's sad how many play the Blame Game.
Millions carry spiritual, mental and emotional baggage to their grave -- regret, guilt, shame, fear, anger, etc. Parents point to people, places and things as the cause for their children's downfall -- blame shifting. Others blame their parents, exes, drugs, boss or social media for their sin. A cycle of sin continues, instead of taking responsibility for their own choices and experiencing healing.
"And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, 'God is tempting me.' God never tempts anyone. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death" (James 1:13-15, NLT).
ASK YOURSELF! Am I blaming others or even God for my sin, instead of taking personal responsibility for my bad choices?
King David prayed to God, "For I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night. Against You, and You alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in Your sight. You will be proved right in what You say, and Your judgment against me is just. For I was born a sinner -- yes, from the moment my mother conceived me" (Psalm 51:3-5).
"We praise God for the glorious grace He poured out on us who belong to His dear Son -- JESUS! He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sin. He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding" (Ephesians 1:6-8, NLT). Believe & Receive Your Salvation Today!
Projecting Blame . . .
The Blame Game projects toxicity upon others, flowing from a heart of iniquity -- hurts, unmet needs, unmet expectations and insecurities. When we reflect on past hurts, we project our judgment upon others. We project what we reflect upon in our heart, even our own sin upon them.
"But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil of condemnation is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord -- who is the Spirit -- makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image" (2 Corinthians 3:16-18, NLT).
Like the moon reflects the sun, we reflect God's Son -- JESUS! God creates that glorious change in our hearts from glory to glory through faith in the finished works of Christ.

Reflecting Christ . . .
Our mission is to reflect God's glory and grace, while there's an argument going on in our minds against God. "But we use God's mighty weapons to knock down human reasoning and false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, NLT).
God's power destroys all human reasoning, false arguments, proud obstacles and rebellious thoughts. It's the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ that frees us from all disobedience. No matter how far you have strayed. It's time to TURN to God from sin TODAY for forgiveness, salvation and the power to overcome by the blood of Jesus and His resurrection.
"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun" (2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT).
Through Christ, you'll overcome the grief, bitterness and discouragement you may feel by taking responsibility for the choices you have made in life. Thank You JESUS for saving my soul!
Our New Identity . . .
Christians have an entirely new identity. We're Loved, Accepted and Forgiven in Christ -- SAVED!
"Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Test yourself! Surely you know Christ is in you? If not, you have failed the test of genuine faith" (2 Corinthians 13:5, NLT).
Knowing that Christ lives in you shows your true genuineness! Are you experiencing God's forgiveness? If not, it's time to receive CHRIST -- the Anointed One!
CONFESS: I believe that God raised JESUS from the dead. I confess JESUS as My Lord and Salvation! LORD, show me Your Glorious Presence!
A Prayer For You . . .
"I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ's return. May you always be filled with the fruit of righteousness through Jesus Christ -- for this will bring much glory and praise to God" (Philippians 1:9-11). Amen!
