Welcome! This ministry started over 45 years ago by writing a one-page newsletter; then a testimony brochure, a book and recording messages in the late 70s. With the help of my loved ones, those tapes are slowly going up on our podcast. But, without the grace of God, these efforts would have never come about. The apostle Paul wrote:

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” 1

Some Podcast Responses…

It’s amazing how the Lord brings folks into my life for encouragement.

“I had a wonderful opportunity to check out your podcast. Fantastic! It’s so amazing that you still have those messages from so many years ago. They are right on, and you really hit the nail on the head. In fact, your whole website is great. Much information that can be used by many and the big part is bringing others into a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Keep up the good work! I know the Lord has been touching many lives, spreading the Word like you are. Have a wonderful day. Rick, CA.”

“Thanks for taking the time to write. My wife likes to read your letters too. They are a highlight and an encouragement to me. Just getting started on your podcast. Congrats on being able to reach out with technology. I do check your Monthly Views on my phone. They are helpful and encouraging to read. Thanks also for the tracts. Every place I go I leave one. I pray the Lord in His timing someone will read them and come to Jesus for salvation. Larry & Beverly, IN.”

“I was going to listen to your podcast, but I didn’t know how to find it. I found it! Listening now! Do you get much mail? Your website shows you get a lot from around the world. Mike & Debbie, TX.”

“I haven’t figured out how to do a podcast yet for In Perfect Peace Ministries, but I’m so glad your is up and running. I’ve already listened to ‘Pulling Down Strongholds’ and ‘Born Not to be Defeated.’ I know they will be a blessing to many. Gregg, CA.”

Abounding Love Podcast…

It was a learning process, but praise God – it’s up! For 23 years, we distributed tapes into prisons, homes, and even as far as many African countries. Since 2003, a friend had them in storage, until the Lord placed it on my heart to get them out and onto a podcast. It has been a lengthy process one step at a time, digitizing, editing and getting them up. By searching almost any podcast platform, they come up immediately. The Lord said, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” 2

The podcast has been up for two months, and we’re getting responses from around the world. I was a young, excited preacher in training, given the privilege of mailing messages to my family for their comfort and healing. Admittedly, I had reservations about putting them out (not being a great theologian), but I felt these bold messages glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ would outweigh the criticism that may come. “The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. As the Scriptures say, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.’” 3

How to be Involved…

This is one of the links at the top of the homepage, so I won’t repeat how to be involved here. We have a work to do as the body of Christ, not promoting a ministry, but rather the testimony and person of the Lord Jesus Christ working through our lives. You can share my excitement and have an overflowing desire to share the Good News with everyone you know and see. It can’t be done in the flesh but must flow off your lips from an intimate relationship with Jesus. This comes as you spend time with God, drawing near to Him in every area of your life. As you do, His peace will bring such satisfaction that you can’t hold in His love. Whatever you are experiencing pours into others. You’ll share what you have found and burst forth with joy. As the psalmist David prayed, “That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works.” 4

In the case of sharing the Gospel message, it is more caught by the work of the Holy Spirit than taught. You’ll find that folks will be attracted to you and desire what you have. They will see your soul-winning joy! God’s love and peace will irresistibly flow from your heart as you speak a word in season, or suggest where they can find help when you are not fully equipped to minister. The Lord has given you specific gifts to use at specific times, but don’t think you must have an answer to all questions. “Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.” 5

The Testimony of Jesus…

Remember, you are not sharing your testimony, but the testimony of Jesus – what He did for you! How He loved you by taking your place on the cross, by forgiving your sins (giving up the right to punish you), and by resurrecting and giving you this new life to share with others. As you read the Word, pray and meditate, He will reveal His love for you more and more. The more revelation you experience, the more you will give out. His Word off your lips will spark faith in the hearers. The apostle Paul wrote, “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!’ So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” 6

I encourage you to make it a priority to build a strong relationship with Jesus in order to share His testimony at work in your life. He’ll give you the desire to turn off the world, as you spend more and more time with Him. In the meantime, share what He’s doing in my life, and let that transfer to what He’s doing in your life too. We are joint heirs with Christ, and co-laborers of the Good News. So, let us partner together in the work of the ministry, sharing God’s love with the world. Come alongside me, “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” 7

After years of ministry, there is still more time to share the Good News with others, before Jesus’ soon return. I beg you to join me in these efforts by your decision to be involved today! Let me hear from you!

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” 8

A Prayer for You…

Jesus, I give You my life wholeheartedly. If You worked in Charles’ life, You can work in mine too! I believe You died and rose from the dead to free me from the bondage of sin. I receive Your righteousness and eternal life through the finished work of the cross. I thank You for opening my eyes to the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ that now shines from my heart by the power of the Holy Spirit. I commit my all to living Your plan and purpose for my life, which is to serve You in all that I do. In your Name, Amen!
