How to Be Involved

Welcome! We pray that you'll partner with us to reach the world with the testimony of Jesus Christ. We're reaching over one hundred countries, but we need your help to reach your family, friends, fellow workers and those at church in the following ways:

Spread the Word

Let your friends and family know about our presence on the internet. You'd be surprised how many don't know. This can be done in several ways:

  • Word of mouth at work, church and family gatherings.
  • Send pages from our website to a friend.
  • Suggest our e-books and video to those you know would appreciate it.
  • Advertise our site on Facebook, and refer our website to other outreaches (see the FAQs page for the blurb).
  • Tweet your friends about the website.

This way you are spreading the Gospel message, fulfilling the great commission (Matt. 28:18-20).

Send a Chain E-Mail

(Help the testimony go forth by copying and pasting the below e-mail to five (5) people, asking them to do the same.)

Print & Pass Out Brochures

As Christians, we have a desire in our hearts to minister to those around us, but sometimes intimidation gets in the way. It's easy to be a blessing by passing out tracts and brochures with a message that you know will be appreciated by those who receive them. Our brochures can be easily printed from the website for this purpose. Please uncheck "fit to page" and set margins to no more than 1/4 inch in your print options before printing in order to fold the brochure properly. Click here.

Write a Prisoner

Our new correspondence, visiting and sponsorship outreach is designed to connect members of the Body of Christ inside and outside of prison.

Sponsor an Inmate

A large percentage of inmates have no income. There are few paying jobs in prison. The State provides for the most basic needs, but not all. For instance, California supplies soap and tooth powder, but not toothpaste, shampoo and deodorant. Some inmates help the less fortunate with their needs, especially the Christians. Start Up a 12 Step Group

It's easy to start a Christian 12 Step group by enlisting committed Christians in your church or prison by placing an advertisement sign-up sheet on the bulletin board with the place and time of the meeting. See Christian 12 Step Resources.

Suggest and Supply Resources

Help us get the  Chaplain's Ministry Helps link or brochure out to prison chaplains by email or snail mail. Being a chaplain among prisoners is a very honored position in the eyes of God, yet sometimes undervalued in the eyes of men. To be involved, you'll need to make yourself familiar with the resources under the above link or in the brochure. Then, email it to a chaplain or snail mail a specific resource or brochure to an inmate suggesting they use the resources, such as a sheet of prayer request slips. Before you realize it, you'll be supplying resources to both inmates and chaplains for their and your prison ministry. Plant a seed:

"For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God" (2 Cor. 9:10, 11).

Help Find My Stolen Bible

In my October Monthly View, I share how my Bible of forty-two (42) years was stolen during Sunday service at Mule Creek State Prison. People desiring memorabilia is one of the many downsides of being infamous. I'm told it could come up on eBay or a site where memorabilia is offered. For a description and documentation of the theft, click here. I'd appreciate if you'd help look for it, report it by sending the documentation to any website selling the item, then contact Charles by email or U.S. Mail.

Pray for Us

"And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before" (Job 42:10).

What a promise contained in this verse! Not that we pray to be blessed, but what is promised when we pray for one another.

Pray for God's love to flow through us in such a way to bring souls to Him.

  • That from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower us with inner strength through His Spirit.
  • That our roots will grow down into God's love and keep us strong; spirit, soul and body.
  • That those we minister to may have the power to understand, as all of us should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep His love is.
  • That we all may experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.
  • That we will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God (Ephesians 3:16-19).
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20,21 NLT).
