April 2021

cross easterHappy Resurrection Day! This month is made perfect for sharing your faith with the community since there are so many holy days being celebrated both Jewish and Christian. In obedience to the Lord’s command:

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” 1

A Global Response…

“My name is Joaquin. I wrote this letter from Wuppertal, a little town near Cologne, Germany.”

“I was born in 1977 in Wuppertal, a very famous city for their sky train called Schwebebahn. It was the first in the world. It is also known for their big zoo.

“I hope you’re in good health, during this difficult time of the coronavirus. My main intention to write you is that I am fascinated about the change you totally made. You finally found in God the way to give your life a new direction, and I’m sure a better life also.

“In 2016, I learned meditation, and this simply gives me a lot of good things in my life. Suddenly, I see my life more positive, and also I became more and more a better Christian. For example, the first thing I do in the morning when I wake up is pray to God. For not so long time it was practically impossible to do this.

“Yes, I prayed to God when I only need His help, but now I pray every day and this gives me enormous power. Also, I see many good things in life. I mean that I recognize that money is not so very important. Most important is to be a good human being.

“Mr. Watson, I’m also very interested in that was you life or better to say your daily routine in the family at Spahn’s Ranch. Tell me please something about this time. Is it true that in the family life, wasn’t allowed to see television, to read books, or what I’ve also read, to get a clock?

“I wish you all the best in this very difficult time. And hopefully, I get an answer from you! Sincerely, Joaquin, Germany.”

A Global Gospel…

Joaquin is one of many who respond worldwide. Though many questions are answered on the site about the crimes, my sole purpose is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, who died for my ins and rose again to give believers eternal life. It was this finished work at the cross that not only provided forgiveness but deliverance from God’s eternal judgment, even hellfire. 2

In Matthew, chapter 24, Jesus answered his disciples’ question concerning the signs of the times and the end of the age. He said that false Christs shall deceive many. They would hear of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, tribulations, hatred by all nations, offense, betrayal and hatred for one another, false prophets, lawlessness and many will grow cold, but to not be troubled, because those who endure to the end shall be saved. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” 3

A Global Outreach…

I don’t understand why the Lord would call me to global outreach, other than to proclaim His amazing grace and enduring mercy. He has revealed to many that if He can forgive me, He can forgive them too! It seems the Lord has anointed me all these years to share his abounding love to those who feel unlovable, lonely and outcast. But believe me, I’m the one who is blessed by your response, especially hearing how lives are being transformed through faith in God’s grace, “when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” 4

In reality, the body of Christ is commissioned to go into the world, and given authority by Jesus to do so. As part of His body, it could be your calling to just go into your part of the world. Regardless, Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” 5

As disciples, we are Jesus’ hands and feet, sowing the Word of God. He plants Gospel seeds using us, some falling by the wayside, on stony ground, among the thorns or on good ground, “…yielding a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty”, as He taught in Matthew 13’s parable of the sower. Only when seeds fall upon good ground and take root does one understand the Gospel in his heart and turn to God for healing (vs. 13-17). Otherwise, like me before receiving Christ, I was blind and hard of hearing, doing my own thing, without thinking of the consequences.

The Lord is now using us to assist Him in sharing His greatest miracle – salvation of souls. Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” 6 Laborers plant seeds, then wait patiently for the harvest. This site; the books, brochures, and pages are seeds for you to share with your community. Then report back the results with praise and thanksgiving, always being obedient to the Lord’s command. Won’t you be a laborer?

A Prayer for You…

Heavenly Father, I thank you for making this the best Easter of my life. I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I receive Your free gift of eternal life. I thank You that when You died for me, Your blood cleansed me from all unrighteousness and the sins of my entire life; past, present, and even future sins I have not yet committed. In all my trials, I give you thanks, knowing that giving thanks for Your love and grace notifies the devil of his defeat at the cross. I commit my life to you 100% this day forward. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
