Exercise your authority
after praying for (name).
In the Name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth, I address and speak to you;
spirits and principalities of darkness [demons],
who have been operating upon the life of
( Name ), keeping ( Name ) from understanding
and receiving the Good News of Jesus Christ.
For it is written: 1
"These signs shall follow them that
believe. In my Name they shall cast out
devils." 2 It
is also written: "I give unto you authority
to trample on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy, and nothing
shall by any means harm you." 3
Therefore, in Jesus' Name,
I command you now to desist and to cease
your maneuvers upon ( his/her ) life and
to take your filthy hands off of ( Name
) in the Name of Jesus. I bind you and break
your strongholds over ( his/her ) life.
Now be gone from ( Name ) in the Name of
Jesus!

Bondage Breaking Prayer
Father, I thank you for
the privilege of prayer and allowing me
to intercede with Jesus on behalf of ( Name
) who is lost and out of your will for (his/her)
life. 1 Your Word
exhorts me "...to make supplications,
prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks
for all men", 2
which I do so now on behalf of ( Name ).
You said, "The harvest
truly is great, but the laborers are few",
3 therefore I pray
that You will send laborers into ( his/her)
life to impart Your Word and love to ( Name
) that You will prepare ( his/her) heart
to receive Jesus.
Bring ( Name ) unto a saving
knowledge of Christ, for it is Your desire
that all men be saved and come to the knowledge
of the truth." 4
Expose and reveal to (
Name ), ( his/her ) wretched condition without
Christ and (his/her) need for Him. Keep
( Name ) from the evil one and from destruction.
As Jesus prayed, "I do not pray that
You should take them out of the world, but
that you should keep them from the evil
one." 5 I ask
the same on behalf of ( Name ). Thank You

For Spiritual Understanding
The man or woman with the
Holy Spirit in them, regardless of how long
he or she may have been in God's family,
is greater than any other power in the world.
Being "born-again" of the Spirit,
automatically places us into the realm of
authority where Jesus Himself and all of
His disciples, which is clearly evident
throughout the Gospels and the book of Acts
(8:7). His Word teaches us "how"
to reign in authority. We realize that all
natural and evil/spiritual powers are less
than God's power. Even Satan himself is
a lesser power.
Man with God in
him is greater than Satan and his army of
demonic spirits (1 John
4:4). This is the reason why God says to
the believer that he shall cast out devils
(Mark 16:17). Therefore, the Christian is
a ruler reigning in Christ's righteousness.
He is now in the place of dominion,
the place of authority, even as Jesus
was while on earth. As the Psalmist said,
"You [God] have crowned him [man] with
glory and honor. And set him over the works
of Your hands. You have put all things in
subjection under his feet" (Psalm 8:4-6).
We are co-heirs with Christ,
and He has given us all authority
to cast out devils (Mark 16:17). He gave
us the power of attorney as His representatives
here on earth (Matt. 28:18-20). The enemy
knows this and trembles when we exercise
our authority, setting people free. As sons
and daughters of God, we must continue to
learn to live in the realm of dominion and
authority.
